Position: Technical Assistance Center Engineer
Location: Bloomington, MN

Description: A Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Engineer is the focal point for all customer requests for assistance. This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following daily tasks: fulfillment of daily requests for support received via voice, fax, e-mail or live call, first line support for system down emergencies, errors and triage of a hardware, software, and network and/or telephony problems, providing explanation of system capabilities to the customer. Technical Assistance Engineers are responsible for supporting new and existing custom telephony applications, including CTI, IVR and Web collaboration. Knowledge of Windows, data networks and SQL is required. Experience with telephony integration, Oracle, Crystal Reports & Visual Basic a plus. TAC Engineers provides follow-up support, works on and provides resolution for issues that range from minor to complex in nature. Collaborates with other departments within Avtex and with manufacturer representatives on a regular basis.
