Responsibilities
This position is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, technologist that possesses solid .NET skills looking for that next technical challenge. The world of .NET and Microsoft Information Worker technologies present numerous exciting opportunities to integrate and extend the SharePoint and Office platforms. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop applications around the following core concepts: collaboration, business process management, enterprise content management, and business intelligence. The candidate must be motivated to advance their technical skills to meet the challenges presented by these development platforms.
In addition to possessing a solid technical foundation this person must be able to participate in solution conversations with clients and internal staff, and then assist in project development. Project-related duties may include client interaction to define technical requirements, architecting and developing solutions, solution testing, and on-going application support.
Excellent communication skills are required; including ability to communicate to customers and management; solid presentation skills; high degree of motivation, self-direction, commitment and integrity; ability to multi-task; strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have strong team orientation.
Experience with SharePoint development platforms is a plus!
Qualifications
- 1-5 years experience in .NET development on SharePoint platform
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Microsoft Developer Certification a plus
- MOSS and WSS Developer Certifications a plus
- Experience with Solution Planning
- Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology
- Familiarity with database design and development
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Excellent organization and customer service skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Team Focused
